(THE GOOD)++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++This is a nice bike don't get me wrong. REALLY nice in fact, as a bike by itself it feels great, premium. Riding it as a standard bike is a dream, once you get the gears set up right. I DO think it's a little complicated having a gear set for both the front and rear wheels but I'm sure for most people that flexibility is a plus! The bike is very adjustable to many sizes, and the front and back double suspension make it buttery smooth to ride. Most bumps you feel almost nothing!And then theres the e-bike aspect of it. It's great, feels very powerful, almost like a human pushing you from behind, it's surreal. But climbing hills is no longer a chore so that really helps. Also I've ridden this thing for 30 minute intervals and the battery power indicator hasn't dropped ONE single blip. That's impressive! Meaning that I could probably squeeze at least 2 hours or more of juice from a maxxed battery.And every aspect of the bike is designed with portability in mind! The folding is amazing, really allows the bike to tuck in half. Then there are the folding pedals, and finally the quick release front wheel. All aspects that allow my to pack this bike down to a small enough size that I can cram it under my twin size bed in my tiny studio room and still have half the bed worth of room for other items to be stored underneath!(THE BAD)-------------------------------------------------------But for a new item the problems are as you can see in the pictures mostly. There's rust on the seat clamp, and the front fork where the front wheel attaches has paint is peeling and flaking off. These were both day one issues, little cosmetic issues FOR NOW but the rust can spread and cause issues with the clamp and the paint flaking could get worse over time since it's already began the process. Another issue is the disc brake rotors, can't show this is pictures really because it's subtle but I'm pretty sure they are not level. They rub at certain sections and cause a very low rubbing noise. I tried adjusting the brakes many times as per videos I found online but you can actually see the brake disc rubs at certain sections and not others. And this is for both wheels, the front being abit worse. Now to be fair, riding it you literally feel and hear nothing as the wind rushes by you, but when you push the bike at low speed you can hear a super subtle rubbing and if you take a look up close you can see it yourself. Not exactly the fit and finish I'd want from a bike this expensive, now keep in mind that this is a budget e-bike so I get it, but still can't give 5 stars to something with issues out of the box like these.===========================Overall though I'm still super happy with the bike. But without those issues I wouldn't have a single inkling giving this a perfect score. I'd say you can probably get lucky and get a perfect one out of the box, it's definitely possible.At this price, you're not going to get top of the line parts. But, what you do get is a very functional bike... a sturdy frame (that folds for easy transport), full front and rear suspension, Shimano deralieurs, disc brakes.I usually ride for 2-3 hours a day on rugged trails and it has held up well.The motor is only 250 W but that is just what I want to give me extra assist going uphill. Battery life is good. I've never run it down past half full.This bike is the best bike. The frame is in square shape and together with the color and shape, make it looks like a modern bike. Before turning on electricity, the bicycle runs smoothly and lightly, goes faster even than a normal bicycle. As an electric bicycle, the motor is powerful and funs smoothly too. The change of the speed is very smooth and reliably. Total feeling is very good for riding and fun.The bike is what I expected. Looks good and I get complements when riding around. The bike is made for hard paved or gravel roads. It's not for mountain biking. The metal stand below the crank can get caught on obstacles sticking up from the road/path. The battery has five dots to show the power level. 5 to 4 goes down quickly. 4-3 lasts a while. When you get to 2 it really means you are about done. The bike is heavy. I wouldn't suggest for a lady or child if you think you'll need to pick the bike up or might run the battery down. With battery power the bike rides great. Without battery power it can get strenuous and tiresome pretty quick. I've gotten as much as 7 hours ride time trying to conserve the battery as much as I can. I'd say if you ride using the battery the whole time you'd get 3-4 hours. I'm not a fan of the battery on the handle bars but it is convenient to unplug and bring into the house to recharge. This is not a top end bike. But, it is exactly what I thought it would be. I wanted an electric bike without paying $1000+. Just use it for the rides it was designed for and you won't be disappointed.
